Five Months In. Here's What We Built.

I want to be honest with you before I celebrate anything.

Building OVIDIA. while finishing law school has not been a graceful process. Some months were slower than I wanted. Some weeks I questioned the whole thing. I'm trying to build something real for women who have been told — directly and indirectly — that the infrastructure of business wasn't made for them.

It wasn't. But we're fixing that.

So this letter is a celebration. A real one. Not the kind where everything was perfect and we hit every goal on a color-coded spreadsheet. The kind where you look up after five months and realize you actually built something that matters.

Where This Started

OVIDIA. is five months old. The mission behind it is years older than that.

Before it had this name, it was The No Trust Fund Club. I built it because I was tired of watching women of color founders spend hundreds of dollars on scattered tools, outdated grant lists, and courses taught by people whose consulting business was their first business. I had actually built things. By 25, I had founded three companies, worked with 300+ founders, and generated $262,000 in revenue in 2025 alone. I knew what this community needed because I had lived inside the gap.

When I stepped back to go to Brooklyn Law School, the platform paused. The need didn't.

So when I came back, I came back sharper. Same mission, better infrastructure, clearer model. That became OVIDIA. One platform. One consistent purpose. Over 1,500 women served across both chapters.

What You Actually Told Us

Last fall we sent a feedback form to the community. We wanted the real answers — not the polished ones.

You did not disappoint.

The number one challenge across the board was funding and capital access. Legal confusion was right behind it — contracts, entity structure, knowing your rights before you sign something you can't undo. Most of you had tried Instagram coaches and paid courses. Most of you felt like you spent money to be inspired instead of informed. You said you wanted proof. Results. Receipts. Structure that actually holds up when you need it.

That's the whole reason OVIDIA. exists.

Nikaya from Queens put it like this: her experience with OVIDIA. gave her structure and the confidence to actually move — not just think about moving. TaSheen from Akron said what she values most is that I don't gatekeep. Kayla from Chicago bought the legal guidebook, the founders focus journal, and the legally organized workbook and finally got her ideas out of her head and into a real plan.

These aren't one-offs. This is what keeps showing up in the data.

What OVIDIA. Is Right Now

For $29 a month — less than most founders spend on a single Canva template pack — Builder Plus members get a live funding tracker updated every Monday, contract templates, Ask OVI (our AI business consultant built on real frameworks, not vibes), Business Breakdowns and Deep Dives three times a week, the No Trust Fund Grant ($1,000 awarded quarterly to a member), a supplier shortlist, stock photos, content templates, and a full knowledge base.

This is not a course. It's not a community group chat. It's infrastructure. The kind that used to cost thousands and the right connections to access.

Why This Is Bigger Than a Platform

Women of color are the fastest-growing entrepreneurial demographic in this country. We are also the most underfunded and the most likely to be sold overpriced, underdelivered products by people who built their credibility by selling to us.

OVIDIA. was built directly inside that problem. Every feature in the dashboard came from what this community said it needed. Funding clarity. Legal protection. Real tools at a price that doesn't require a trust fund.

That's not a tagline. That's the model.

What's Next

Deeper capital intelligence. A stronger AI layer inside the dashboard. More legal tools. And more grant funding going directly back into this community — because the No Trust Fund Grant is just the beginning of what we're building toward.

Five months in. 1,500 women served. A model that works. A mission that hasn't moved an inch.

Thank you for being here from the start. Now let's keep going.
